Timing is everything

International schools usually plan on hiring a full complement of staff before the school year starts and contractual employment between one and three years is offered.  

Mid-season placements often take place at the last minute due to illness, maternity leave or unexpected resignations. Teachers who are available at short notice in the middle of a school year may be considered by high quality schools, although they usually require more experience. The teacher must be able to go abroad within weeks of the job offer. 

Teachers can register with Dynamic Personnel at any time during the year. Should you already be contracted for a long period, as it often happens in the UK, South Africa and Ireland, you should register as early as possible.
