Educational requirements for teaching English as a foreign language TEFL

Teaching requirements in the Middle East for TEFL teachers

The minimum requirement for English language teachers in the Middle East is a four-year degree from a country where English is spoken. College instructors must hold a master’s degree in TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) and have three to five years of full tertiary teaching experience.

A certificate to teach English as a foreign language as well as a bachelor’s degree are usually not sufficient to teach at an international school where all or most of the subjects are taught in English.

Teaching English

Dynamic Personnel offers limited opportunities to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL) and these positions usually require at least two to three years of TEFL teaching experience in a school environment . They often require mother-tongue English speakers as well.
